Since last year Apple phones were built on 64- bit processors and just like other Apple phones iPhone 6 is built on 64-bit processor.

On the other hand Samsung Galaxy S5 is power-driven by a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. While iPhone is powered by Apple’s A8 SoC working on two Cyclone (ARM v8-based) cores clocked at 1.4 GHz and a quad-core Power VR GX6450.

Even though S5 have more cores and higher clock speed still iPhone 6 has a more powerful processor.

Battery life

Samsung Galaxy S5 uses removable Li-Ion 2,800 mAh battery, which according to the phone makers has a talk time of 21 hours and can stay alive up to 390 hours on standby mode. Samsung Galaxy S5 lasted one and half day on moderate use.

When it comes to battery life Samsung Galaxy S5 lasts longer than iPhone 6.
